Jay by Sila Thai

I recently visited this restaurant for lunch and tried their Mittagsmenu. I ordered the vegetarian Pad Thai, which was quite good. The sauce on the noodles had great flavor, making the dish enjoyable. However, the fried chicken substitute on the side was chewy and tasted a bit oily, which was a downside. The atmosphere felt authentic and inviting, making it a pleasant place to dine. The drinks were good, and the overall pricing for the lunch menu was reasonable. Another plus is that it wasn’t too busy, so no appointment was needed. I would recommend trying their regular Pad Thai noodles instead of the vegetarian option. Overall, it’s a nice spot for a casual lunch!

Wonderful place. I lived for 10 years in Asia and the food here is just as good as it is in Bangkok. All extremely tasty, colourful, with veggie/vegan options aplenty. The staff are equally great, so welcoming and so friendly.

The Best service you can imagine! Very welcome staff and food is just incredible! I was there already 5 times and I will go again many times in the future Everything looks like an art and taste the same :) Also the restaurant itself is very cozy, quiet and will help you enjoy your time P.S. I would just add some spicy flakes on the side for Pad Thai and it will be even better

So wonderful to have a Thai restaurant that caters to both vegans and meat eaters that | I can enjoy with my friends who are not plant-based. Aside from the Pad Thai, everything I have tried here is delicious and as good, if not better than some dishes I have had in Thailand. Considering they have to use plant-based ingredients, that is impressive. The service is personable, with their waiter who remembers what I like during my visits and I don't have to ask. The only thing I can fault them on is a long wait during peak times. As they are making items from scratch, you can wait up to an hour for your meal if the restaurant is busy. If you order only one course, the food comes quickly. Also, as it follows the royal Thai cooking method, the presentation is beautiful!

Pad Thai is nice, balanced combination of sweet, sour and fish sauce, prawn is fresh and big. Tom Yum Kung is not enough spicy for me but still good aromatic and citrusy fragrance. Mango sticky rice nice and sweet.

Authentic and ambitious Thai flavours in vegetarian. Surprisingly good meat alternatives, even for a classic meat dish like laap. Complex curries and well made drinks. Not your average „vegetarians don’t care for complex flavours“ place. Will definitely come back soon.

This is my favourite place for lunch on Nordstr. The midday menu is basic but I only ever eat Pad Thai here so it fits my needs :) I order the tofu pad Thai, with extra chilli on the side, and it’s delicious. They also give you extra bean sprouts which is a plus. The presentation of the food and the service is also beautiful, which correlates with the 5 stars I would give it! The waiter and waitress are so friendly and lovely, she brought water and some carrots for our dogs, this makes us feel very welcome, and we will always earmark this place for a Thai meal when we are in the mood.
